Homes listed between $200,000 and 1,000,000 show professional marketing photos of a home are likely to yield thousands of dollars more upon sale relative to its listing price. The below graph from Redfin breaks down how much more money professionally shot photos yielded in several price ranges included in their study.
In addition the study shows homes shot by a professional sell faster. Homes in the $400,000 price range sold over 3 weeks earlier on average. This makes since as many studies are estimating 9 out of 10 home buyers are using the internet to aid in their home buying process. These buyers are flipping through pictures of properties with their morning coffee and deciding which ones they would like to take time out of their busy day to see.
